Synopsis

Teenage best friends Inken, Vicky and Lena, make a pact to quickly fix their major problem - none of them have ever had an orgasm! With only a few weeks until the summer is over, Inken tries desperately to help her aloof and narcissistic boyfriend Tim find her G-spot, while leaving her childhood friend Flin desperately in the friend-zone. Shy and quiet Lena tries in vain to work up the courage to ask out her crush while hiding a shocking secret. Vicky, the most sexually adventurous of the bunch, gets herself into quite a predicament involving a yeast infection and a very surprising love interest. As the girls navigate the overblown and byzantine travails of modern high school life, they find that climaxing might not actually be the end-all it's cracked up to be. A contemporary retelling of the 2001 cult film, “Madchen, Madchen,” Hot Girl Summer is an “engagingly acted, feminist and empowering” (Kino-Zeit) roller coaster ride into adulthood.
